R&D Business Development
Job Responsibilities and duties
Support for the development of new products, formulations, manufacturing processes and related technical documentation, including revision of existing ones if necessary.
Sample preparations, support for conducting laboratory, pilot, and industrial-scale theses.
Interfacing with customers for tests, samples, formulations and other requests.
Preparing, reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures related to Research and Development.
Provide support for the selection of raw materials, semi-finished products, and packaging materials required for the formulation of new products or reformulation of current products.
Provide support in the selection of new raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products or new suppliers where required in collaboration with Supply Chain.
Provide technical support to the quality department in determining the stability tests to be performed, with any evaluations and conclusions.
Provide the documentation department with data necessary for the preparation of technical documents for new products and any changes/revisions of current ones (weighing sequences, blending, sieving, etc.).
Managing and organizing the R&D laboratory and related equipment.
Provide technical support, when requested, to help ensure that production needs and customer requirements are met.
Develop ideas and strategic plans for new products and possible production process improvements.
Requirements
Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent.
Proven experience in QC, QA, R&D, galenical laboratory.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good written and spoken English.
