Fabio Rota
General Manager
Mr. Fabio Rota - General Manager of NAIE, joined the company in 2018, he is responsible for managing the business activities of Natural Alternatives International Europe.
Mr. Rota has vast experience in managing production sites in previous roles and possess a wealth of knowledge in dealing with all aspects of business, from the supply of raw material, processing & production, product development, quality, supply of product, while always having as a focus point, customer satisfaction.
Mr. Rota obtained his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences in 2001 at the Federal High School ETH Zürich (Switzerland), after obtaining his master degree in Chemical Engineering.
Pier Francesco Campanini
Technical Director
Mr. Pier Francesco Campanini - Technical Director, joined NAIE in April 2019. He is responsible for Technical Direction (Quality Control, Quality Assurance, R&D) and Business Development.
Mr. Campanini background includes Quality & Compliance, R&D, Medicine and Regulatory responsibilities within multinational international companies; with reference to pharmaceutical, herbal, botanical, food supplement and nutritional products.
Mr. Campanini received his degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies from the University of Milano (Italy), followed by experimental post doctorate activities on Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic.
Stefano Giani
Strategic Procurement Manager
Mr. Stefano Giani joined NAIE in February 2011 as Supply Chain Manager. With 14 years of dedication and passion for his work, he was promoted to Strategic Procurement Manager, where he now plays a key role in overseeing supplier relationships and strategic supply planning.
Mr. Giani possesses over 15 years of experience in raw materials scouting and procurement, plan and implement logistical strategy and contracts negotiation.
Mr. Giani received his Master Degree in Economics and Commerce from Insubria University in Varese (Italy).
Marzio Campana
Financial Controller & Deputy General Manager
Mr. Marzio Campana joined NAIE in November 2014 as Financial Controller and Deputy General Manager . He is currently responsible for Finance, Customer Service, Warehouse and the Human Resources Department as well as assisting the General Manager in supporting all departments and oversee company initiatives by leading cross functional projects and activities.
Mr. Campana’s background includes responsibility for various ERP implementations, profit & loss, deep knowledge in industrial cost accounting and manufacturing and process improvements. These experiences were accomplished over 20 years of increasing responsibilities in the pharmaceuticals industries.
Mr. Campana holds certification of Swiss Federal accountant from Lugano School as well as a Master Black Belt certification in Lean Management from DBS University in Chicago.
Santino Nicita
Production Manager
Mr. Santino Nicita joined NAIE in 2001 as Production Supervisor and became Production Manager in 2002. He has responsibility for: Operations, Engineering/Maintenance and Planning.
Mr. Nicita prior to working at NAIE, worked for several years in the bakery and dairy food industry, in the quality department, where he contributed to the ISO 9000 certification, HACCP system implementation and ERP introduction.
Mr. Nicita has a Master of Science degree in Food Technology from the University of Milan (Italy).
Christian von Dach
Head of Sales
Christian von Dach joined NAIE as Head of Sales in September 2023 and is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing activities.
With over 25 years of experience in marketing and sales, strategic procurement, and supply chain management, he has held key leadership roles in multinational corporations within the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, complemented by federal diplomas in Supply Management and Marketing.
Stefano Bellini
Supply Chain Manager
Mr. Stefano Bellini joined NAIE in November 2018 and currently heads the Supply Chain Department.
With more than 15 years of professional experience, he has built a solid background in accounting and finance before specializing in raw material sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management. Over the years, he has developed strong expertise in coordinating complex procurement and logistics operations.
In his current position, Mr. Bellini oversees procurement and logistics activities, ensuring operational efficiency, supply reliability, and continuity of service.
He holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of Insubria in Varese, Italy.
Gisella Roveda
Quality Manager & Business Development Documentation
Mrs. Gisella Roveda joined NAIE in November 2019 as a Quality Assurance professional and currently leads the Quality Department, overseeing both Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
She brings over 20 years of experience in Quality & Compliance, Research and Development, and Regulatory Affairs, acquired within multinational organizations. Her professional background spans multiple sectors, including food, pharmaceutical, herbal, food supplements, and nutritional products.
In her current role, Mrs. Roveda is responsible for ensuring quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all quality-related processes.
She holds a degree in Food Science and Technology and completed a postgraduate advanced course in Food and Herbal Supplements at the University of Milan, Italy.
